Attend a SUP Meetup
What’s SUP Meetup? Every Friday night Blue Jellyfish SUP organizes a stand-up paddleboarding meet and it’s a great chance to socialize while getting out on the water. These semi-guided paddles happen at Pacifica Paddle Sports in Brentwood Bay from 6:20-8:00 p.m. (unless it’s the first Friday of the month. Then it’s in Swartz Bay). It’s free with your own gear, or $35 plus GST if you need to rent. And so long as it paddles – whether board or boat – it is welcome! bluejellyfishsup.ca

Take the car for a scenic drive to explore the three gorgeous wineries in the area. Deep Cove Winery (deepcoverwinery.ca), has a venue, lounge menu and beautiful, romantic outdoor spaces; Invinity Sparkling Wine House (invinity.ca) sells premium product available for pickup; and Roost Farm Winery, Bakery and Bistro (roostfarmcentre.com) offers a country-style Tasting Room Bar and Vineyard Bistro overlooking the farm, vineyard and a koi fishpond.

Collect Sea Glass from Glass Beach
Seaglass can be used in jewelry, candles and artwork. If you find a piece of red sea glass, just know that you are lucky as it is one of the rarest colours to find. The beach is in Sidney between Beacon Park and the Bevan Fishing Pier.
